This study uses empirical analyzes of trends in the economy and the labor market, in didactics and scientific discussions about new learning theories as well as in the development of new digital technologies to develop future scenarios for German higher education in 2030. These scenarios are further developed and validated in a second step in a consultation and discussion phase by means of a mass blogging event. The study benefits from the expertise of the four partner organizations in the consortium: FiBS Research Institute for the Economics of Education and Social Affairs, HIS-HE Institute for Higher Education Development, Graz University of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
